Is this a guided tour?
Yes, the driver is also the guide for this tour. He gives a detailed description on all the places of interest on the tour, including The Ailwee Caves, The Poulnabrone Dolmen, The Cliffs of Moher, Dunguaire Castle, Leamanagh Castle, Fanore and Blackhead.
Does the tour run every day?
Yes, the Cliffs of Moher and Burren tour runs 7 days a week, all year round.
How long does the tour last?
The tour takes from 10am to approx. 5pm – 5.30pm.
Where does the bus leave from?
The bus leaves Salthill Tourist Office at 9.50am, and Merchants Road in Galway City Centre at 10.00am.
How much does it cost?
Adult price: €25.00
Student price: €20.00

Are family/group discounts available?

Are there any other discounts available?
Yes. You can get a discount on any additional tours you take with O’Neachtain Tours (Connemara tour or Galway City Tour), or Aran Direct (the Aran Islands). If you wish to avail of this discount then please present your ticket from the first tour when booking.
Is the OAP Travel Pass accepted as payment for this tour?
No the Travel Pass does not cover this tour. However, there is a senior rate of €20.00.
Are there any extra costs/entrance fees for any of the attractions?
Yes, there is fee of €8.00 for the Ailwee Caves entrance fee / walking tour. This is a preferential rate which includes a 10% discount because you are with the O’Neachtain’s Day Tour.
Are there lunch stops or can we bring our own food?
The Burren tour stops at the Doolin Hotel for lunch for approx one hour. You also have a choice of bringing your own lunch with you.
Are there many opportunities to take photos on this tour?
Absolutely. There are numerous ten-minute picture stops at places of interest where the driver/guide stops the bus so that passengers can get off and take photos.
Are the tour coaches wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately the tour coaches are not wheelchair accessible.
Are the coaches air conditioned?
Yes, if needed, there is an air conditioning system on the tour buses.
