Connemara & Kylemore Abbey Tour

The Connemara Tour starts with a half an hour stop in Spiddal (tea/coffee and toilet break), and then a picture stop at the thatch cottages and deserted famine village in Rossaveal. There are further picture stops in Screeb, Maam Cross, Maam and Leenane where “The Field” movie was filmed.

The highlight of the Connemara Tour is a two and a half hour visit to Kylemore Abbey which includes viewings of the visitor centre, the Abbey, the Gothic Church, museum and the Victorian Walled Gardens.

This tour no longer stops in Clifden or the National Park because of the extended time spent at Kylemore Abbey.

After visiting Kylemore Abbey the tour travels down by the Inagh Valley, Recess, Maam Cross and the Quiet Man Bridge.
